Back in 2007, when current U.S. President Hussein Obama was campaigning, promising free this and free that, much like his liberal/socialist/communist counterpart Bernie Sanders is today, then Australian Prime Minister John Howard made some comments that many people, at the time, viewed as over-reactionary and disrespectful, but have since, sadly, rung true.
From media outlet Conservative Tribune:
“I think that would just encourage those who wanted completely to destabilize and destroy Iraq, and create chaos and victory for the terrorists to hang on and hope for (an) Obama victory,” Howard told the Nine Network.
“If I was running Al Qaeda in Iraq, I would … pray, as many times as possible, for a victory not only for Obama, but also for the Democrats,” he added.
“And, if America is defeated in Iraq, the hope of ever getting a Palestinian settlement will be gone,” he concluded.
The Muslim terrorists in the region would go on to do that which Howard warned about. They hightailed it across the Iraqi border into Syria, as “the push” that Bush ordered in 2007 and 2008 removed the rest of their presence in the north, particularly in the city of Mosul, and they waited out the elections. To their benefit, Hussein Obama won, and we’ve since seen that Howard’s call was spot on.
