It looks like the next place in America where we’ll need to set up ‘safe zones’ for imbeciles who have their feelings hurt is going to be at any restaurant that offers an all you can eat buffet.
The man pictured above, named only as Mr. Fleming in media reports, recently had his feelings hurt when he was cut off and kicked out of an all you can eat buffet at the Golden Corral in Springfield, Massachusetts. His feelings were hurt so badly that he’s said to have filed a $2 million lawsuit against the eatery.
But check out the facts of the case before you jump on his side. The restaurant claims that Mr. Fleming stuffed his face for a full seven hours and consumed more than fifty pounds worth of food!
Mr. Fleming claims he’s a victim because he’s on welfare and can’t afford to eat out that often, so he has to take advantage of the ‘all you can eat’ offer at Golden Corral. Perhaps he feels a bit of false advertising was at play, since they didn’t allow him to eat all that he could eat?
He also claims that the way they looked at him as he was removed from the restaurant was insulting.
The food chain claims they’ve offered Mr. Fleming a cash settlement in an undisclosed amount, but he has not accepted it, because he feels he can get more money if the case goes to court.
